MOHAVE COUNTY, Ariz. — Officials found the body of 49-year-old Beau Riddle Tuesday morning.
According to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, Riddle’s body was located near his abandoned truck, which was found behind storage containers near Littlefield, Arizona.
Authorities said there are no signs of foul play with Riddle’s death.
According to the family’s spokesperson, Riddle’s family filed a missing person’s report on Friday after he called his employer saying he was having an anxiety attack while on a work trip from Arizona back to Utah.
The spokesperson said that authorities found the trailer that Riddle was carrying on Saturday at a gas station and his truck abandoned on Sunday.
They found his work clothes, an item wallet and other items in the truck.
Around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Riddle’s wife, Kim Riddle, released a statement, which reads in full:
I can’t believe we lost Beau this way and it only shows how quickly we can lose the ones we love. I’m grateful for everyone who has stepped up to support me and my family. I only wish Beau was here to see how many people love him and we’re touched by his humor and willingness to help anyone in need.
A GoFundMe* page has been set up to help get Riddle’s body back to Utah so he can be laid to rest.
