CACHE COUNTY, Utah — A 24-year-old Colorado man was killed after crashing his motorcycle on U.S. Highway 89 in Logan Canyon.
Sgt. Cameron Roden with the Utah Highway Patrol said the crash happened Thursday evening near milepost 473 — about 10 miles from Logan.
UHP investigators believe speed was a factor, and the driver laid down his bike after losing control in a curve.
The man then struck a cable barrier and died at the scene.
Both directions of U.S. 89 were closed for around 30 minutes while emergency crews were on scene.
