Three arrested on obstruction of justice charges in South Salt Lake homicide

SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah — Three people were arrested Wednesday after a court approved search warrant was served on a home in Roy related to a South Salt Lake homicide investigation.
“Investigators learned the parents of Terell Jones and girlfriend of Stafon Coleman have been obstructing justice. The trio have been assisting the remaining suspects in this case evade capture by helping them travel across several different states during the last three months,” stated a Wednesday afternoon press release from the South Salt Lake Police Department.
The following people were booked into jail on felony obstruction of justice charges:
- Kenya Coleman (47 years old)
- Damian Coleman Sr. (49 years old)
- Liana Blas (20 years old)
Police said this case is being sent to the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office for the screening of formal charges.
Meanwhile, detectives are still looking for the three remaining homicide suspects, identified as:
- Terell Jones (30 years old)
- Stafon Coleman (21 years old)
- Mckennalyn Cummins (24 years old)

Damian Stafon Coleman, 27, was arrested on May 10 after 27-year-old Romeo Charles Stevens was found with several gunshot wounds on Main Street, south of Utopia Avenue.
