SANDY, Utah — Search and rescue crews were called out Friday after a hiker took a “pretty good fall” in the Lone Peak area.

Details about his injuries were not immediately available.
Just before 3 p.m. Friday, a Department of Public Safety helicopter arrived on scene and hoisted the hiker off the mountain.
