One transported to hospital after tree falls on them

PARK CITY, Utah — Emergency personnel were called out Thursday after a tree fell onto a person in Park City.

The incident happened on White Pines Canyon Road at approximately 3 p.m.

Officials with the Park City Fire Department said a group of workers were cutting down trees in the area when the accident occurred.

The patient was treated on scene and transported by University of Utah AirMed in stable condition.

Additional details were not immediately available.
