SPANISH FORK, Utah — Authorities are looking for the owner of a motor home that was set on fire in a parking lot Saturday night.
Sgt. Blake Ottesen with the Spanish Fork Police Department told KSL TV they received calls of the vehicle fire at the Chick-fil-A parking lot at approximately 9:35 p.m.
A bystander told responding officers there was ammunition in the motorhome and to get away, said Ottesen. Before police could ask more questions, the bystander left the scene.
First responders heard the ammo exploding in the motor home and found a shell casing on the ground.
“According to witnesses, we are assuming the owner, but somebody got out of the motor home and left the scene on a bicycle,” Ottesen said.
Spanish Fork police are still looking for that person but did not provide a description of them.
Ottesen said no one was injured and the motorhome was towed Sunday.
