Multiple doorbell videos show kids refilling empty bowls with their own Halloween candy
On a night when many complain of stolen candy bowls and there are more tricks in return for treats, a few kids decided to give back.
KSL TV received three videos of kids who noticed empty Halloween bowls and grabbed handfuls of their own candy to help refill them.
A Ring Doorbell in Sandy captured a boy’s actions after he refilled an empty bowl on a porch with candy from his bag while trick-or-treating.
The post sharing the ring video states, “This kid watched the group before steal all candy from the bucket at our front door, kid in picture rang the doorbell and when we did not answer he used candy from his bag to refill our bucket.”
The boy, dressed as a fox, is shown looking at the empty bowl and then approaching the door. When nobody arrives, he motions to the camera to wait and walks back over to his bag where he grabs handfuls of candy to put into the empty bowl.
Another video from Clinton, Utah shows a little Mario approach the porch and exclaim, “there’s only two pieces of candy left!” He says, “I’ll take the skittles!” as he leaves the porch to join an adult in the distance.
Suddenly he turns and says, “Actually, Dad, stay there,” and runs back to the porch where he grabs two handfuls of his own candy to refill the bowl. “There we go!” he calls as he jumps off the porch.
The third video from Ogden showed a girl with her friends waiting on the sidewalk, approach a house to fill up their bowl with handfuls of her own candy before rejoining her group.
