“We’ve always said that as soon as we can open the mountain safely, we will, and this year mother nature mixed with our advanced snowmaking system has allowed us to do just that – and even earlier than ever before,” said Davy Ratchford, general manager at Snowbasin Resort. “We cannot wait to welcome guests back to the mountain to experience a season that is shaping up to be unlike any other at our incredible resort. If you haven’t purchased your pass yet, now is the time.”
Snowbasin’s season kickoff party — The Moose is Loose — will now move to Thursday, Nov. 17, from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The event, which is free to the public, will include a rail jam, ski movie film festival, mountain market, food and season pass printing.
“Opening weekend will be complete with dining options available at the serveries in Earl’s Lodge and Needles Lodge,” the release stated.
