Hogle Zoo offering Wild Weekdays discount in December

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah’s Hogle Zoo is offering guests $5 general admission every weekday for the month of December.
The tickets must be purchased online for the discount. If not, they will be $7 at the gate.
According to a press release from the zoo, the offer was made “as a thank you gift to its guests and the community.”
The zoo, which is located at 2600 Sunnyside Avenue in Salt Lake City, is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day.
“The Wild Weekdays discount days recognize public support through the Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts and Parks (ZAP) program, and offer the opportunity for guests to experience the many active animals in colder weather. For example, Amur tigers, snow leopards and red pandas are high-elevation species and are more active during winter months,” the release stated.
