Winter weather in Juab County caused several vehicles to slide and collide. Semi-trucks were sideways and cars were on the sides of the road.
Sgt. Cameron Roden with UHP said the crashes are blocking the roadway as more cars are crashing.
Additionally, two UHP vehicles were hit.
One car had a trooper inside, who was transported with minor injuries.
The other was a k-9 unit, the dog was inside but was not injured, Roden said.
Troopers said UDOT will help to get the roads salted.
UDOT and the National Weather Service issued warnings about slick winter road conditions throughout Utah on Wednesday, effective through Thursday morning.
