WASHINGTON COUNTY, Utah — Fire crews responded to a house fire in New Harmony, Utah, early Saturday morning.
At approximately 3:06 a.m., New Harmony Fire crews received a structure fire call near 2500 East in the county area of New Harmony.
According to the New Harmony Fire Association, first responders found a residential unit attached to a home fully engulfed in flames.
“Occupants were alerted to the fire via a reverse 911 call after a quick-thinking newspaper deliveryman called 911 to report a fire,” reads the fire association’s Facebook post.
Firefighters began to attack the fire and search for any occupants in the building, but none were found, and no injuries were reported.
The fire and smoke heavily damaged the building but didn’t spread into the main home or attached garage.
