Maverik offering free energy drinks to drivers working on New Year’s Day

SALT LAKE CITY — Maverik gas stations are offering free energy drinks to drivers working through New Year’s as a thank-you for helping community members get home safe.
Uber, Lyft, rideshare, and taxicab drivers are invited to claim a Pepsico energy drink from any Maverik store from midnight to 5 a.m. New Years Day.
The drinks include any flavor of 16 oz Mountain Dew Energy, 16 oz Rockstar, or 12 oz Celcius.
In a press release, Maverik said these drivers are unsung heroes to many commuters year-round.
Drivers who want to claim the reward can do so by stopping at any Maverik location with their driver ID.
