Sgt. Peterson with the Utah Highway Patrol said a semi-truck was passing a Subaru in the left lane of traffic. It went to merge back into the right lane when it hit the front of the Subaru, causing it to spin into lane one. The Subaru was then T-boned by a pickup truck.
The driver of the semi and the truck sustained minor injuries.
The driver and passenger of the Subaru also sustained minor injuries, according to Peterson, but they were transported to the hospital.
