Utah County’s most popular baby names in 2022

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Valley Pediatrics listed the most popular baby names of 2022 in Utah County.
The most popular baby names in Utah County during 2022 were William and Olivia.
Olivia kept its title of most popular baby girl name, topping the list in both 2021 and 2022. William, on the other hand, is a new chart-topper for popular baby boy names.
In determining what names made the list, Utah Valley Pediatrics said they combined names that sound the same with different spellings. For example, babies with a name spelled “Jaxon” were categorized with other spelling variations under “Jackson.”
Some names grew enough popularity to make it on the top 50 list, like Eleanor, Millie, Sage, Zoey, Tatum, Madeline, Hallie, Josie, Wesley, Lucas, Milo, Daniel, and Aiden.
The top 5 names for girls were:
- Olivia
- Lily
- Emma
- Lucy
- Charlotte
The top 5 names for boys were:
- William
- Jackson
- Oliver
- Jack
- Liam
