TAYLORSVILLE, Utah — Police are searching for a man who they say broke into Taylorsville High School, vandalized it, and then stole some property and money.

The incident occurred over winter break, according to a Facebook post from the Taylorsville Police Department.

“The man damaged three vending machines, stole school merchandise and the money located in the machine and spray-painted three surveillance cameras to try to hide his identity,” the post stated.

Police shared photos of the suspect Thursday, adding that the man was seen entering the school and driving an Escalade on the property.

Anyone with information about the suspect has been asked to call Det. Landolfi at 801-840-4000 and reference case number TY22-42197.
