Construction worker hospitalized after falling in cement hole

SALT LAKE CITY — A man is in serious condition after falling about 15 feet into a cement pit Thursday afternoon.

Salt Lake City Fire Capt. Burt said fire crews extricated the man from a construction site near 944 S. 4400 West, and he was taken to the hospital.

Burt did not say how the accident happened or the extent of the man’s injuries.
