E. coli found in Pineview Reservoir

OGDEN — E. coli bacteria was found in Pineview Reservoir in the Ogden Valley.

The Weber-Morgan Health Department said in a Facebook post that the bacteria was found in the water around the Middle Inlet.

Swimmers have been advised not to dunk their head under the water, or get it in their mouths. The health department said swimmers should wash their hands with soap and water after swimming.

The warning is reportedly just for the Middle Inlet area, and the rest of the dam is clean.
