Body found on I-215 in Taylorsville

TAYLORSVILLE — A man was found dead Sunday morning near 1600 West on eastbound Interstate 215, according to Utah Highway Patrol.
At 5:31 a.m., UHP troopers responded to reports of a body on the roadway near 1600 West. The man was later identified as 30-year-old Jorge Luis Reyes-Barrios. Police believe he had been living in West Valley City.
Upon arrival, troopers said they discovered Reyes-Barrios’ body lying in the roadway.
UHP also said it has since identified one or two involved parties.
There were no indications of foul play, according to UHP, and as of Thursday, investigators had not yet determined what caused his death.
UHP asked anyone with information on what happened in the case to contact its dispatch center at 801-887-3800.
