Suspect Killed, Officer Injured Following Domestic Incident In Murray

MURRAY, Utah — One man was killed and an officer was injured after shots were fired following an alleged domestic incident in Murray.
Officers with the Murray Police Department arrived at the area of 800 East and Vine Street around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Kristin Reardon, MPD public information officer, said they were responding to a domestic incident where a confrontation occurred and shots were fired.

An officer was injured during the exchange. Reardon said he was transported to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The male suspect died at the scene.
Reardon said the Officer-Involved Critical Incident Team has opened an investigation.
