SALT LAKE CITY — Chick-fil-A plans to open a distribution center in Salt Lake City, the company confirmed Tuesday.
While no opening date was given, the company said the first roles it seeks to hire for the distribution center are already open and looking for applications. According to the job listings, the company is seeking a general manager, a human resources generalist and a safety site leader.
The distribution center will open under the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Chick-fil-A Supply, which works to keep the supply in its restaurants “seamless.” The 116,000-square-foot facility will serve over 60 restaurant locations in Utah, Montana and Idaho.
The company said it also plans to donate $25,000 to Feeding America in Utah to support hunger relief — something the Chick-fil-A does for every distribution center it opens.
After 2024, the company has a total of 10 distribution centers located in Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, Ohio, Kansas and Texas, providing approximately 1,000 jobs where it provides opportunities for further training and growth.
