Body found in Jordan River under investigation

SALT LAKE CITY — A body that was found in the Jordan River Thursday morning is under investigation, according to the Salt Lake City Police Department.

Detective Dalton Beebe with the SLCPD said the body was found in the water near 1100 W. 300 S.

Police said there were no “superficial wounds” on the body, but the cause of death is under investigation.
