Man injured from stabbing in downtown SLC, police say

SALT LAKE CITY — A man was found injured from a stabbing that occurred Tuesday morning, according to the Salt Lake City Police Department.
SLCPD said dispatch received a call about a man bleeding at 178 S. Rio Grande St. Upon arrival, officers and paramedics found a man with a stab wound.
Paramedics transported the man to the hospital in serious but stable condition, according to SLCPD.
During the investigation, police said they believed the stabbing happened near 200 South and 500 West when an argument broke out between two parties.
According to police, the incident seemed to be isolated with no threat to our community.
