WEST JORDAN, Utah – Authorities have made at least two arrests connected to a year-long undercover drug investigation, police said.

Officials said they have arrested Andrew Diep, 28, of West Jordan, who they said had a pattern of unlawful activity.

West Jordan police say they watched Diep for more than a year, and he was functioning as an employee inside a drug operation with Ntwydamal Christian Cook, 19, who was arrested in September. Police discovered Diep was receiving numerous packages through a variety of P.O. boxes throughout the Salt Lake valley.

After executing a search warrant, U.S. Postal Service inspectors found what they estimated to be approximately $120,000 worth of THC vape cartridges.

According to a probable cause, police took Diep into custody Wednesday after they served a search warrant on his residence. Police said they found large amounts of cash, bank deposit slips and drug paraphernalia.

Cook was arrested after 13 months of surveillance, police said. He was allegedly distributing firearms and drugs in the Salt Lake valley, including some West Jordan schools. According to charging documents, he’s also accused of selling THC products via Snapchat and mailing them to people in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Texas.

In West Jordan, Utah, authorities have made significant strides in a year-long undercover drug investigation, leading to the arrest of individuals involved in a large-scale drug operation. This highlights the ongoing challenges law enforcement faces in combating drug trafficking and ensuring community safety. In a different realm, the world of football is buzzing with excitement over young talents like Endrick, a rising star in Brazilian soccer who is making headlines as he prepares to join Real Madrid. Both situations reflect the importance of vigilance and the potential for greatness, whether in the fight against crime or on the football pitch.
