PROVO — BYU is looking to make robots a little more helpful for humans.
One graduate is looking at developing a robot that could essentially interact with the world with its whole body. It could help you with lifting heavy boxes — or even a kayak.
Baloo can be taught to do these tasks safely because its body has flexible features. With the help of two professors, the student also published a study demonstrating the robot’s functionality.
