SALT LAKE CITY — Several state leaders pitched in Tuesday to help a food pantry in Utah County.
Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson posted photos on social media at Tabitha’s Way in Spanish Fork. The pantry provides food for up to 2,000 families each month.
Henderson mentioned with demand rising 30% a year, it’s heartening to see the community help those most in need. She was joined by Spanish Fork Mayor Mike Mendenhall, Utah State Sen. Mike Mckell and others to stock the shelves.
Editor’s Note: A previous version of this article mistook Mayor Mike Mendenhall for Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall. It has since been corrected.
