OGDEN — Faculty at Weber State University are expanding efforts to provide free textbooks to students.
The university’s library introduced the Open Educational Resources Initiative to provide free course materials to students. Over the past 3 years, the library estimates they have saved students more than $3 million.
Now, even more departments are opting into the OER program. The end goal is to make college more accessible.
