Former Ute Devaughn Vele Pulls Down Improbable TD For Broncos

DENVER- Devaughn Vele and the Denver Broncos are taking on the Kansas City Chiefs in the regular season finale in a “win and in” situation. The Broncos will snag the last playoff spot in the AFC with a victory over Kansas City, and Denver seems to be in the driver’s seat in the first half with the Chiefs resting their starters.
The Broncos have scored a touchdown on every possession so far to lead Kansas City 21-0, with their third touchdown coming on an improbable bobble in the end zone that was ultimately snagged by former Utah Ute Devaughn Vele.
The Broncos were in the red zone and ready to cap off a monstrous 18-play drive that took more than 11 minutes off the clock. Bo Nix took the snap, showed a play-action fake, and rolled out to his right. He surveyed the end zone before targeting Adam Trautman. Before the ball could get to him, it bounced off his defender not once, but twice, before deflecting off yet another Chiefs defender and falling into the hands of Devaughn Vele or his second touchdown reception of the year.
This TD was wild. 🤯
