Jazz Trades Leave Team Shorthanded Against Pacers

SALT LAKE CITY – The new-look Utah Jazz will host the Indiana Pacers on Monday night after a busy weekend of trades for the organization.
The Jazz completed trades on Saturday and Sunday, leaving them short two players when they face Indiana.

Jazz Trades Overshadow Pacers Matchup
The Jazz are coming off a rare win on Saturday, downing the Orlando Magic 113-99 in one of their most complete performances of the season.
The Magic struggled to score against the Jazz defense, shooting 33 percent from the floor and 22 percent from three.
Saturday’s victory, the Jazz’s 11th of the season came without center Drew Eubanks and guard Patty Mills who were traded to the Los Angeles Clippers shortly before the game.

In return, the Jazz acquired PJ Tucker who isn’t expected to join the team, and Mo Bamba who was waived Sunday to allow the Jazz to complete their trade for Los Angeles Lakers guard Jalen Hood-Schifino.
Hood-Schifino is not expected to be in uniform for the Jazz against the Pacers.
Indiana is one of the hottest teams in the NBA having won 18 of their last 24 games.
