SALT LAKE CITY – Ahead of Pro Bowl weekend, two former BYU Cougars Kyle Van Noy and Fred Warner joined the Pat McAfee Show to give some updates from Orlando.
Warner is making his fourth appearance in the Pro Bowl while Van Noy, at 33 years old, is making his first.

Van Noy is a friend of the program, as McAfee would call it. The former BYU star has made multiple appearances on the show in recent years.

McAfee gave Van Noy a call to ask about the effort level in the Pro Bowl this year. Something that has been a question about the games for as long as many NFL fans can remember.
Van Noy gave a witty response, mentioning his Relay Race opponent and another Utah local former Utah State Aggie Bobby Wagner.
“You see how they paired me and Bobby Wagner up against each other,” Van Noy said. “That’s the type of effort we’re getting.”

After talking about the vibes in Central Florida and some coaching staff updates in Baltimore, the topic switched back to the energy and effort surrounding the Pro Bowl games.
Although it’s pretty clear that everyone is there to have fun, Van Noy said that won’t stop him from getting hype and maybe even playing some mind games.
“You know me,” Van Noy said. “We’re going to be hyping everybody up. ‘I love that work. I need more though. Are you going to let Fred Warner beat you?’ You’ve got to play the mind games (too).”
