Utah Hockey Club Forward Dylan Guenther Out Indefinitely With Lower Body Injury

SALT LAKE CITY – Utah Hockey Club forward Dylan Guenther is expected to miss significant time with an undisclosed lower-body injury.
The team announced the injury update with a subsequent roster move early on Friday.

With no timeline for return, Utah pulled second-year wing Josh Doan from the AHL.
The injury comes at a very unfortunate time for the Hockey Club. Utah has lost seven of its last eight and slid down the Western Conference standings as a result.
Guenther was one of the most consistent sources of offense for Utah, leading the team in goals scored and coming in fifth for assists.
Up to this point, Guenther had played in all 40 games.

As it stands, Utah holds a 17-16-7 record and sits in sixth in the Central Division and 11th in the Western Conference.
The Hockey Club has six home games in front of them. The next is a matchup against the San Jose Sharks tonight.
Guenther Out, Doan In
As previously mentioned, it will be a tall task to fill the void left by Guenther on the front line.
Utah recalled Doan from Tucson. Prior to his AHL assignment, the Arizona native played in nine games for the Hockey Club in October.
In those games, he recorded one goal and one assist in about 13 minutes on the ice each game.
