8-year-old boy in serious condition after snowmobile accident

OAKLEY, Summit County — An 8-year-old boy was left in serious condition after he crashed into a snowmobile on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.
Sgt. Skyler Talbot with the sheriff’s office said the accident occurred at 5000 E. Weber Canyon Road.
Talbot said the boy was sledding when he ran into a stationary snowmobile.
The boy was transported to the Oakley Rodeo grounds, where he was then transported by medical helicopter to Primary Children’s Hospital.
Talbot said the boy is in serious but non-life-threatening condition.
