Clearfield power outage due to a vehicle crashing into power pole Wednesday

CLEARFIELD, Utah — An accident at 2200 S. Main Street caused a road closure and power outage for several hours.
Around 1 p.m. police responded to a call about a car that veered off the road and hit a power pole.
Rocky Mountain Power anticipates that power will resume this evening.
The 40-year-old driver sustained no injuries, but she checked herself into the hospital as a precaution.
Officers do not suspect any impairment was involved.
