MURRAY — An elderly couple crashed through a chain link fence onto the property of an elementary school Tuesday afternoon, according to the Murray Police Department.
Sgt. Barlow with the MPD said the crash happened at McMillan Elementary School while classes were still in session.
Barlow said the elderly couple accidentally pushed the gas instead of the brake, before driving through the chain link fence.
The crash happened near the time school got out, but the school held students inside during the investigation, according to the MPD.
Police said the elderly couple didn’t obtain any injuries.
