SALT LAKE CITY — Davis School District students played a vital role in aiding Salt Lake City’s homeless Wednesday, as they helped install two tiny homes that aim to make a big difference.
“All humans need other people,” said Camille Winnie, vice president of The Other Side Village. “We need to bring people back in. This is the way to do that.”
On Wednesday, the students built and delivered two tiny homes. The homes are now part of a community effort to provide new opportunities for those experiencing homelessness.
