Victim identified in fatal stabbing, police seek person of interest

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — Police are looking for a person of interest in a fatal stabbing that took place at the Aspenwood Apartments at 4178 South 4080 West.
West Valley Police found 59-year-old Willie Houston had been stabbed and he was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
According to police Houston lived in the Aspenwood apartment complex with his girlfriend. “Witnesses report some sort of dispute occurring between Mr. Houston and his girlfriend’s nephew, 30-year-old Deon Jennings, who also lives in the apartment complex in a separate apartment. Investigators would like to speak with Mr. Jennings regarding this incident but have been unable to locate him. ”
Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Jennings. Jennings has brown eyes and black hair, shorter than what is shown in the photo included. Jennings is 5’7″ and weighs about 150 pounds.
