Body in Provo identified as jogger killed in hit-and-run

PROVO, Utah — A body found near 850 West and 800 North in Provo Thursday evening was identified as 21-year-old Isabelle Parr.
According to a release from Provo police, they determined that Parr was struck by a vehicle while
jogging between 5:20 and 5:25 p.m. Thursday.
Police said a witness found the body lying in the road in the area and by the time officers got there the woman was deceased.
The call came in just before 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Police deemed the death suspicious and began to investigate.
The release states, “The vehicle involved fled the scene without stopping or calling for help. At this time, investigators are requesting help in identifying the vehicle.”
