Lindsay Aerts

Lindsay Aerts...

Lindsay Aerts has a broadcast journalism degree from Utah State University. She started her music radio broadcasting career and switched to radio news in 2015. Starting at KSL NewsRadio as a weekend anchor, she hosted a weekly show called The Mom Show, which discussed motherhood’s realities. In 2019, after cutting her teeth for years as a radio news reporter and on the National News Desk, Lindsay moved to cover the Elections Desk for KSL NewsRadio during the high-stakes 2020 election. While she’s always tackled any story that’s come her way, that experience was a part of covering Utah’s legislature and how changing laws impact Utahns. While on the radio, she won a regional Morrow Award for her in-depth series on Utah’s elections, “Follow the Ballot.”

In 2023, Lindsay switched from radio to KSL TV and continued to cover stories impacting everyday Utahns. She has the most experience covering Utah’s elections, the state legislature, campaigns, and politics.

Lindsay loves to spend time with her family when not working, playing and watching sports, including hockey, lacrosse, football, and tennis. She admittedly loves to unwind with trashy TV. Lindsay grew up in Maine, and the ocean, lobster, and beaches will always have her heart, but Utah has been her home since 2002.
