An in-depth look at the work being done for Afghan refugees. Several agencies in the state have worked tirelessly to help with the transition for these new members in our community. Volunteers have stepped up to support those fleeing the violence in their country, and to show them there is truly someone at the other end who is willing to help.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has partnered with Catholic Community Services, The International Rescue Committee and many other agencies, to provide much needed help. This collective effort is giving hope and healing to those who are new here.
