Video: Afternoon weather forecast for Dec. 24, 2024

A storm arrives overnight producing valley rain and mountain snow. The cold air will arrive early Christmas morning creating a chance for snowfall in the valleys and benches, but accumulation will be very light. The rain and snow will taper off in the afternoon, but a series of storms will arrive in the days after Christmas producing more rain and snow. Overnight lows will be in the 30s with afternoon highs in the low 40s. The mountains of northern Utah will receive 2-3 feet of snow this week, while the valleys will see a rain-snow mix lasting through Saturday. Kevin Eubank – KSL Weather 12.24.24
