An atmospheric river is pumping deep moisture across northern Utah to bring valley rain and heavy mountain snow, especiall north of I-80. Expect the rain and snow to remain nearly nonstop through the overnight hours with showers shifting more to the north by early Sunday morning. It will be a cloudy and gloomy day across northern and central Utah for Sunday with occasional rain and mountain snow, but gradually drying out. Expect rain totals from a few hundredths of an inch in Utah county to near a quarter inch in Davis county. Cache valley could see close to half an inche of rain. We will see a foot of snow for our mountains south of I-80 with 2-3 feet for the Bear River Range. Totals will be heavier the farther north you go. Kristen Van Dyke, KSL Weather 2.1.25
