Video: Afternoon weather forecast for Sept. 20, 2024
Sep 20, 2024, 6:57 PM | Updated: 7:40 pm
Scattered showers and isolated storms will continue in southern Utah tonight and Saturday. Precipitation will be moving eastward as the day goes on, so only keeping a morning chance of rain for southwest Utah Saturday. Showers can lift as far north as the Cottonwoods tomorrow afternoon and evening, and we’ll keep a low (less than 15%) chance for an isolated shower over the Wasatch Front. Highs will be in the upper 70s both Saturday and Sunday, and Sunday will be dry statewide. We’ll add clouds back into the forecast Monday with highs in the mid 70s. From Tuesday onward, a high pressure system looks to build into the western US, that’ll keep us dry and bring a gradual warming trend back into the 80s. – Devan Masciulli, KSL Weather 9.20.24
