Video: BODY CAM: Two Utah men shot at Amazon truck and cause roll over crash while fleeing from police

On July 3, 2023, Tyler Joshua Foutz and Adrian Brown got into a road rage altercation with an Amazon semi truck driver while on Interstate 80 in Millcreek, Utah.

According to court documents, the truck driver was nearly run off the road by the two men. Foutz and Brown challenged the driver to a fight, called the driver a racial slur, and followed the truck until the driver pepper sprayed them.

Home security footage shows Foutz and Brown drove next to the Amazon truck and the sound of gunfire was heard as their car drove away. Police say that Foutz fired the gun as Brown drove away at speeds reaching 100 mph in a residential area.

Footage from the Unified Police Department shows officers pursuing the two men in their car until they crashed into another car, causing a rollover crash.

The two men were confronted by police and were shortly arrested.

In 2024, Foutz and Brown were sentenced to two terms of three to five years.
