U.S. Marshals conducted an interview with Steve Powell at the South Hill Pierce County Library on July 7, 2010. The Marshals were seeking information about the disappearance of Susan Cox Powell from West Valley City on Dec. 7, 2009. Steve Powell spouted an unfounded conspiracy theory, claiming Susan had run away with another missing person, Steven Koecher.
