As the valley inversion remains in place, so does the haze. Degraded air quality will continue through the weekend, with a slight chance of loosening up on Friday. However, the weak front that moves through Friday won’t flush it out. Our best chance for that will come Sunday into Monday as a potential storm sets aim for Utah. While it may not bring much precipitation, it’ll get clear, clean air. Until then, it’ll be mostly to partly sunny, with highs in the mid-40s and lows in the mid to upper 20s for the Wasatch front.
