We’ve had another near or at 100 degree day across the Wasatch Front, but this will not be the case over the next few days. We’ll see a drop in temperatures as we head to the end of the week, but by Sunday will once again approach 100 for the north. As the high pulls to the east, moisture will get trapped into teh flow around it, bringing a good chance for afternoon and evening rain and thunderstorms to most of Utah. About the only areas that won’t see much action will be the extreme northwestern portions of the state. Because of the nature of these storms, there will be heavy rain at times and places over central and eastern Utah, so keep a weather eye on conditions and realize flash floods are possible and expected tomorrow and Thursday. There have already been people caught in these events and we don’t want that to happen again.
