Video: Evening weather forecast, Oct. 8, 2024

The weather pattern doesn’t change much for the next few days across the West, high pressure still keeps stormy rain showers out of Utah while allowing clouds in later this week and weekend. The long range shows a large low pressure trough attemping to move out of the northwest. While that occurs, it only looks to drop the temperatures to the not-so-hot range. The only big thing might come in after next weekend as the models are advertising a large scale cooling and wet pattern. Again, that’s over 10 days or more from now, but at least a change is showing up. ​
