Northwest flow aloft will bring in cooler temperatures and smoke from the central Idaho fires. Air quality as a result will decline this afternoon and evening. Sensors will likely reach the moderate to unhealthy for sensitive groups AQI for the next couple afternoons. Southerly flow will then start to pick up into Saturday/Sunday ushering in cleaner air from the south.
