Generally partly cloudy skies along the Wasatch Front today with some build-ups over the mountain tops that could produce a stray shower or two. Temperatures this afternoon will reach the triple digits with Salt Lake City likely breaking an old record of 102F back in 2019, forecast is calling for 103F. Westerly flow aloft will allow for smoke to move back in late Wednesday afternoon, air quality will drop off to the yellow and maybe even orange levels. Thunderstorm chances increase for the weekend.
