Video: Morning weather forecast for Dec. 13, 2024

Our small storm is here and will continue to impact the morning commute. Light snow showers should start to taper off toward the lunch hour and by this aftenroon we’re talking mostly cloudy with maybe even some peaks of sunshine out there. Accumulations: valleys could see 0 to 1/2″ of snow, benches up to an inch, Wasatch Back 1-2″, and mountains 2-4″. A second storm brings a warm front through the state on Saturday that could produce some light rain showers by afternoon, then the brunt of that system arrives Sunday morning bringing rain/snow. – Matt Johnson, KSL Weather 12.13.24
