High pressure has moved right over us keeping above average temperatures in place and valley inversions are strengthening. Expect moderate air quality to unhealthy for sensitive groups, which includes children and the elderly. Highs will climb up to the low 50s for the Wastach front with mostly sunny skies otherwise. St. George will be beautiful with highs in the low to mid 60s. This pattern lingers through the weekend with the next system arriving early Monday to clear the air and bring brief valley rain and mountain snow.
